Machines you build from ordinary blocks: drills that dig tunnels and shafts for you. More machines (road pavers, rail layers, water pumps, a tunnel borer) are on the way.

Need access? Ask an admin. Machines are off for regular players until you're given permission.

The basics

• Machines are built from normal blocks in a set pattern. No crafting, no special items.
• Every machine has a lever on top of a gold block. Right-click the lever to start it, and again to stop it.
• Put fuel in the machine's furnace (fuel slot). Coal or charcoal works best.
• Everything the machine digs goes into its chest.
• The furnace glows while the machine runs.
• A machine only runs while you're online.
• Machines respect land claims. They won't dig where you aren't allowed to build.

Drill

Digs a 3×3 hole. Two versions: horizontal (tunnels) and vertical (shafts).

Head block: use an iron block for a normal drill, or a diamond block for a faster one. Only a diamond head can dig obsidian.

Any kind of planks works.

Horizontal drill (tunnels)

Digs a tunnel 3 wide and 3 tall, driving forward as it goes. It moves away from the furnace.
